Changing Your BloG theme On BLOGGER!

TYPE OF THEMES :

One of my newly acquainted friend Sherry blogger of a contest blog is looking for a 3 column Blogger theme . This post will only be for blogger reference only if your a word Press user please visit here Asuka she has many WP themes on her site and i know you guys will love it . Ok coming back well there are three types of themes currently popular on the webspace which are :

1. Adsense or ad themes
2. 2 columnar themes
3. 3 colounm themes
   

Few other are also available but they are upon you to choose the best for your blog.


CHOOSING A THEME FOR YOUR WEBSITE!

Well firstly you need to choose a good theme for your website before installing it . The graphics should be aligned and the ads should be in a specific position . So your site should look well and compiled . What should you look for ?

• A 125 x 125 Ad spot with a good position (On the right hand side).
• Theme must suite your blog's topic and should be relative
• Taking up more column themes might shorten your space for your blog entries so pick carefully
• Trial and Error method choose a few themes and look for the one that best suites your site.

WHERE TO FIND BLOGGER TEMPLATES:
Here a few websites i am providing you from where you can choose a theme for your self :

Jack Book : The page will open up to his themes just browse and pick a theme you like . You will find 3 column and 2 column themes as well.

There's always an option to do a little searching on google just type keywords blogger theme or blogger templates . You'll find millions of sites hosting some really good templates.

HOW TO BACK UP YOUR FILES:
Thanks to Sherry she reminded me of this i almost forgot about it . Its a really crucial step towards changing your blog theme . If your widgets get removed and you hae no way to get them back then it might be a hassle. So i recommend to make another test blog first before you upload it finally . And if you specifically want the same widgets on your blog . Do the following:

1. Firstly download the XML file of your Blog this is the ORIGINAL COPY so KEEP IT SAFE(As shown in the picture).
2. Now Open a note pad .
3. Click on Layout .
4. Open each widget get their code and position and keep saving them in an organized manner in the notepad.
   
5. Install new blog theme copy and paste buy adding new widgets each time you do so !
   

HOW TO INSTALL THEM :

Well after you have selected your favorite template you just have to download the template on your desktop unzip the XML file and then do as i say :

1. Login To your blogger account Goto Your Dash Board.
2. Now Click on Layout .
3. When the Layout loads up click on edit html (AS SHOWN IN THE PICTURE).
4. The html template opens up where your blog's skeleton lies.
5. Now click on BROWSE and select the XML file you want to upload and then press UPLOAD.
6. It will ask you to remove a few widgets accept that you can always get back the codes later on .
   
7. Check it if your blog looks any better .
   
8. Install widgets Back on Your Blog

There are loads of sites that come up with blogger themes tell me the sites And the blogger theme you like . If you have problems installing it just let me know.

Its a straight way to money heaven people . If you own your own website that supports php and other gizmo's your on for a really good run not only you get loads of traffic pouring down on your from search engines but you also get accepted in many affiliate programs . Well this is the reason i am writing up this post.

I was browsing a few affiliate sites well most of them don't require you to have a .com domain you can just party all you want with the one you have already . But there comes a point when your the coyote ugly standing on the verge of blogs who have their own domain name and those who don't well honestly there are a billions of websites and i know you guys are just too darn wretched scared to buy up a domain . As for me i want to but the fund in my pocket says and displays a different story sure i want a domain of my own . But yeah it comes at a price . I do indeed have it in cash but when it comes to online transaction ..... well truth is i am broke what do you expect from a college student the most i could earn is 10$ or 20 $ but i think its high time i had my own domain name and a website . There are a billions of available name just waiting for you to grab the best one . So here are a few pointers on Grabbing a good domain name:

Number 1: Always make sure your domain name is short and easy to remember few websites with really large domain names get less hits cause Google and people have problem typing them up in their browser window which makes a pretty good mess . They would be stuck in trial and error to the end of their days you don't want that to happen don't you!

Number 2: Try to get a more relative name to your blog or website . Make it a point when you get a domain name don't try to hurry on names cause you will be stuck with it for a whole year round and that would be a disaster you would have to start from base one again aka buy a new domain ! It not only helps in recognizing what the site is about but also helps in SEO development i say a good SEO is the base and heart of every website or blog .

Number 3 : Well this is the last thing you must be worrying about is the payment . Well there are many ways to do them and pay em up but you should always find the way that suites you best . For EG: ME i am trying to earn some cash up here and then i will go on buying blog and probably a website for myself if i make enough . Well that's my story but it doesn't have to be that hard . But its best you it my way this way you can really learn how to blog effectively and efficiently and you may even make a big hit on your number meaning getting up like more friends before you even start a website so do try and stick up with it . If you can't well KEEP TRYING there a million in one chance you won't get up there . Well few exceptions are always there but if your determined you never know you might end up a big entrepreneur like John Chow or Shoe money . Personally i think they are big showoffs lol but i like it ! You got the dough so why not waste it on publicity !

So that take cares of buying a domain but what should you look for when buying a blog package plan or a space for yourself:

Well i will keep this one short . There not much to tell here just have to use your common le sense here.

You should look for :

1. A Good Hosting plan which meets your requirements
2. A good space which could hold an elephant in ! Thats what i would look for.
3. A good bandwidth and yeah you should keep this in mind always if your receiving many visitors a day your site many go down make it a precaution .
4. Payment mode . I would prefer paypal its easy to handle and does not even take up any processing charges .
   
5. Should include basic requirements like PHP , APX, ASP, Flash support etc most affiliates require this in order to gives a more user friendly add environment .

Stumble Upon Tool Making It Easier

Some of my fellow blogger asked me about stumble upon and well i pretty much came up with this post.

What exactly is stumble upon?
StumbleUpon find out your favorite type of websites for you web sites based on your interests be it gaming , blog resources. Even i was a bit shocked whenever i press the stumble button i was getting really good results . It deals with web page, photo or video, our personalized recommendation engine it actually learns and saves it on its engine well i didn't exactly learn how it works but yeah each time you hit the favorite button. It know something new about you . So it slowly gains experience and it would become a perfect blog hunter for you in the blogging arena. There are just countless blogs out there you just don't want to be sitting at south pole thinking about north stumble brings you one step closer to your destination.

And what more you can download its tool bar and i think it comes in really handy . I didn't even know that my website was stumbled upon until i installed the tool bar . So you know everything about your website think again . The variety of options stumble offers on its tool bar :
Stumble Button: Takes you to a variety of pages from which you can choose what you like or dislike.
By pressing I like it or thumbs down

Send to : You can send the link of this page to your friends and share it with others
Review Button: You can stumble upon a page write a review about it and leave a comment.

Stumble of friends Favorites: Well if you like your friends blog you might wanna visit the sites they like so just digg in .

Stumble images and video's : Well here also you can stumble the same way you are when your noticing a blog site .

Other buttons: They include a whole directory of categories marking them as your favorites checking your friends and fans . There loads of other tools too so keep stumbling. And check out the options it has to offer.

Well i stumbled across this neat tool on stumble which could tell you if the site is down or not ? This tool is quite helpful . Luckily, there’s one tool you should always have in your bookmarks for a time like that - and it’s called Down For Everyone Or Just Me. Upon visiting that site, I was pretty impressed. It was as simple as any site can be made, with a white page and only one line of text. Basically, it says “Is ____ down for everyone or just me?” All you have to do is enter in the site you want to check, and then click on “or just me?” and it’ll tell you.

So next time you’re wondering if the site you’re trying to access is unavailable for just you or also for the rest of the world, try Down For Everyone Or Just Me. Have you ever used this tool before? Do you know any others similar to it, or any better alternatives? Let us know what you think!


I found a few neat things while stumbling

Wall - E Movie & PSP Game Review

Wall - E- Meet Wall - E a robot designed to compress waste garbage in to small cubes . When the whole Earth gets deserted and life on earth seems to have vanished wall-e continues his daily work in routine for 700 years after this event had occurred . His life is about to change when an alien space ship lands on earth and he find the true purpose of his life . The robot falls in love with EVA . She came from a mother space ship where all humans are living in a sanctuary of a ship that is controlled by a robot wheel. That's according to the game.

The game contains many exciting puzzles and some really new concepts added to make gaming a fruitful experience . Well it took me around 3 days to finish this one yes it was quite a challenge specially the round where you have to follow EVA when she is being taken away by a robot carrier its really hard doesn't even have any check points . And trust me if you analog isn't working properly just forget it . You'll never complete the game ...! . Well the mission take you over a wide range of other exile robots . A small dog that has light in his eyes follows you when you turn on wall'e music . And then there is an umbrella you can bounce on it and trust me you never fall it keeps following you . A block breaker robot which breaks blocks blocking your path music on! .

Apart from the robot's wall e is designed to do a lot more it can compiled garbabge which you can use to shoot at things such as crates to get more life boost or you can use it to shoot at police robots that just keep saying halt . Well there are different types of block as you explore the world around you . You will find magnetic blocks , explosions blocks and some other's as well. You practically never die in the game unless you fall from a cliff or in a water . On game it unlocks may different small interesting clips of wall ' e if you liked the movie you will like them as well. And yea when you find artifacts they have some humor instore for you . So people check out this amazing game i will add my save file here of the completed game .

Enough Already With The Wall-E / Short Circuit Comparisons

I think yeah the comparisons are quite odd wall-e is short and cute where as Jonny's robot is much shell . I would vote for wall-e on this one even though he won the acadamey award.

Wall-E is still on the top 10 list and the critiques have given it a A- Rating which means . It must be a sensational movie i have seen it . And i think Pixar has really hit a jackpot with this one.

50 Cent - Bullet Proof Game! PSP Save !

50 Cent Bullet Proof - Well as the game title suggests yea he is almost bullet proof. 50 cent bullet proof is practically has some real fact's about 50 cent today ! The Game starts when 50 Cent cent is shot 9 times and miraculously he lives to tell the tale. This actually happened to him before he ever became a RAP star in the business .

So some game patents depicts 50 cent's former life. In game action includes loads of free style killing and yeah when i mean freestyle it has the most awesome moves the resiliency of the player just keeps on going up. There are around 40 - 50 different moves you can buy from the streets of 50's crib. Not only that you can get yourself a whole rage of G-unit collection . Cool-T's Pendents lockets . Shirts , vests. etc personally i really like the vest that 50 has at the start of the game. You can buy tons of ammunition from kevelar's to grenades and has flash bangs . Apart from the accessories you can buy up 50 cent's MP3 collection video collection etc for some cash which you will get a mount load at the end of the game After this you will never need to buy and 50 cent DVD's or mp3's Its more than enough its got some of 50's party back at his friends crib. Man do they buy jewelery a dude bought a $60,000 necklace with a dude on it all in black gold. And i think 50 has a really great reputation among his colleugues even though am not gay but he looks really great in his new beard ! Pimpin it ! Must to watch to know more about 50

Actually i played this on my PSP it gives you an overhead view but still i think it was great. As the game progresses you will find yourself defeating your rivals easily . Well if you know how to strave and shoot you can actually perform some neat combos. Sometimes you do get stuck in tight spots where you don't have any ammunition left that's the hardest part of the game. But yea yo can nail the with your own hands its really easy but your should know how to perform combos .And trust me they are the most coolest thing you will ever see! You can play your own mp3 on your PSP while in game but i prefered 50's My Buddy it was so good i never changed the song untill i had finished it. Even though its a really lengthy game i took around two days to complete it . If you guys are lazy enough to finish the game then you might wanna download my save file to directly access the video's .

I am just holding my breath for its next sequel 50 Cent BLOOD ON THE SAND. Just check out its trailer here i think its going to be better with some what more action. It is the most anticipated game next thing close to GTA -4
